St Francis hiking and Nature Walks:

St Francis Bay is home to no less than four nature reserves: Cape St Francis Nature Reserve, Seal Point Nature Reserve, Seal Bay Nature Reserve and the popular Irma Booysen Flora Reserve. This area has incredible natural beauty, rich in both plant and animal life and offers a wide variety of nature walks.

The St Francis two harbour walk:

The Two Harbour Walk starts from the Heritage Centre Harbour (village) which you walk along the shoreline to Port St Francis. This is a fairly difficult but extremely beautiful walk.

The walk takes you about an hour. If you're lucky you should be able to witness sea life such as seals, (there is a family of seals at the port beach), otters, dolphins and whales passing. When you reach the port, there are walkways that lead to the harbour where you can either sit down for a meal and/ or drinks, watch the working harbour, visit the sea centre or walk along the harbour wall.
